Who we are:
The Sexual Assault
Centre (Hamilton & Area) is a feminist organization, comprised of
women, which has a vision and belief that all women have a fundamental
right to live free of violence, oppression and exploitation. We will work
toward achieving this vision using the principles of equity,
anti-discrimination and personal and political empowerment. Our first commitment is to support and assist adult survivors of sexual violence in a respectful, non-judgmental way. We recognize and attempt to respond to the diverse needs of women based on their racial or ethnic background, sexual orientation, physical or intellectual abilities. We will provide information and support so that women may make their own choices and decisions. What we offer:
