Accessibility: Our office is wheelchair accessible. We can also arrange for visits to the consumer.

Availability: Our services are usually available within a weeks time.

 Who we are: Mission Services of Hamilton is a Christian, non-profit, charitable organization whose purpose is to serve men, women and children in the greater Hamilton area in response to basic human needs and to support them in reaching there potential, thereby fulfilling God's call to act justly, to show mercy and to offer people hope.

What we offer: Presentations, as scheduled, on ODSP Employment Supports including:

  • Encouragement that working CAN work for someone on ODSP
  • Who the community advocate is and what he does for ODSP consumers
  • What ODSP Employment Support is, how it works and how it benefits ODSP consumers
  • In depth info on how much you can make without getting cut off ODSP Income Supports
  • In depth info on how earnings affect your ODSP Income Supports
  • What is involved in training, getting and keeping a job and how ODSP Employment will pay to help consumers
  • Outreach to ODSP consumers to provide info on ODSP Employment Supports and help to apply Support coordination for ODSP consumers to access employment planning at Amity-Goodwill, Ontario March of Dimes, Mission Services-Marty Karl Centre, Canadian Hearing Society and The Canadian National Institute for the Blind.
  • Information for service providers, professionals, and family members who deal with ODSP consumers to inform them about ODSP Employment Supports.

Service providers, professionals, and family members of ODSP consumers can call Michael to schedule presentations, to ask questions regarding any of the above, and to refer ODSP consumers for employment planning.
