• The tip of this instrument is placed in the vertebral interspace before it is gently cranked to widen/distract the space between the vertebral bodies.
• This can be done to gain access for decompression, and may be used to aide in distraction prior to inserting the bone graft.
• The tips of this instrument should be fully together prior to placement and use.
