Dr. John Wells is a neurosurgeon practicing in Hamilton Ontario. He trained at the Montreal Neurological Hospital and Institute. He has been active in the McMaster University Medical School as a tutor, clinical skills preceptor, and unit planner. Dr. Wells has worked with residents from many programs as they have rotated through the Neurosurgery Service in Hamilton. Now that McMaster University has begun a Neurosurgical Residency of its own, he looks forward to the challenges of helping to train new neurosurgical specialists. He has special interests in outcome measurement, medical informatics, and the application of evidence based practice to local environments.
